The Ubiquitous Inspector(s)

The influence that parents can have over young, developing lives can be -- and is in most cases -- significant. If you can stand yet another anecdote from my life, let me explain.

When I was in my middle 40s (many years ago), our family lived just "down the hill" from my mother's house. My Dad had passed away suddenly two decades earlier and my Mom lived alone in the home that he built for her, just up the hill from us on our ample, combined family-owned acreage.
