Infographic: Report Reveals How COVID Impacted Fall Enrollment
It's no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic has vastly influenced students' decisions on where to attend college and whether to take a gap year. Although many stakeholders have speculated about the impact of the pandemic on enrollment, one study aims to provide hard data on the subject.
On October 15, the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center shared early results of its study on fall 2020 college enrollments. The report includes information from about 54 percent of institutions reporting to the Clearinghouse to date, representing about 9.2 million students.
Community colleges were particularly impacted by a drop in enrollment, the study indicated. Check out some of the most important insights from the report by reviewing this infographic.
