Which ACT Scores Should We Send?

Question: If my child gets a 33 composite on first ACT with English and writing scores of 35, and then gets a 35 composite the second time, with English and writing 32, should we just send the second scores or both scores?

“The Dean” hates to think that she’s become one of those people who says, “Send both sets of scores” but (gulp), that’s what she’s saying.

I don’t know where your child is applying, so my advice might change if I did. I also don’t know the full breakdown of both sets of results. However, a growing number of colleges are now “Superscoring” ACT results, so it’s probably worth the extra bucks (if they won’t break the bank) to send everything.
